Cruise specialists with pan-European offices
A leading cruise line needed to align the functions of two European offices. A major challenge was the cultural differences coupled with very different working practices. This naturally created fear and anxiety in certain quarters.
Starting with the senior managers, a series of structured team building workshops was implemented so that:
- team members were profiled to determine their strengths and team dynamics;
- agreed best practices were implemented across both offices;
- the fear has been eradicated, a culture of openness and trust has been established, and team building workshops are held regularly to continue to improve communications and processes.
